| Obverse description | Central field bears the national emblem of Mongolia — the Soyombo symbol surmounted by a flame, flanked by two stylised dragons and radiating sunburst rays, all set against a polished dark field. The denomination numeral '50' appears at the top of the field, with the Latin legend 'MONGOLIA' running vertically along the right side. Traditional Mongolian script legends are inscribed along the left side of the field, reading the country name and denomination. The entire design is encircled by an ornamental border composed of a continuous meander (key-fret) pattern, characteristic of Mongolian decorative art. |
