Aanvullende informatie

Malik Gabdullin was a Soviet Kazakh writer and academic who became a Hero of the Soviet Union during World War II for actions near Moscow in 1941–42, serving with the 8th Guards Rifle Division. He survived the war, later documenting his frontline experience in prose — unusual among those decorated at that level. Kazakhstan has issued several circulating commemorative 50 Tenge pieces honoring figures of national cultural and military significance, and Gabdullin fits squarely into that program as both a combat veteran and a foundational voice in Kazakh Soviet literature.
