| Reverse description | The reverse presents a high-relief depiction of the traditional Kazakh blessing ceremony known as Bata, set within the interior of a yurt, its lattice wall (kerege) forming the background. At left, an elder in traditional dress and headdress stands with raised hands in the gesture of blessing; at right, two younger figures in traditional Kazakh attire kneel respectfully with cupped hands to receive the blessing, with an ornately decorated ceremonial tray before them. Traditional Kazakh floral and geometric ornamental motifs frame the lower field. The mint logo appears at upper right, the date 2015 is inscribed vertically at right, and the Cyrillic inscription БАТА is displayed prominently in the lower exergue. |
