| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Kazakhstan occupies the central field, depicting two mythical steppe eagles (samruk) with spread wings flanking a shining sun in the form of a radiant disc, with crossed arrows at its centre and a five-pointed star above. A decorative cartouche at the base bears the Cyrillic inscription ҚАЗАҚСТАН. The circular legend ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ (Republic of Kazakhstan) runs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic characters, with the country name ҚАЗАҚСТАН repeated to the left.
