P#78 represents the most recent revision in that sequence, though substantive changes between consecutive 50 Taka types are often modest — repositioned security threads and updated watermark configurations rather than wholesale redesigns.
Cotton substrate throughout the modern Bangladesh series has been sourced internationally; the Bangladeshi central bank does not operate its own security paper mill.
