| 备注 |
Guinea's sylis-denominated series had a short window. The syli replaced the franc in 1971 under Sékou Touré's socialist government, which had severed Guinea from the CFA franc zone back in 1960 after voting against membership in the French Community — the only territory to do so in de Gaulle's 1958 referendum. That decision came with immediate economic consequences, including French withdrawal of technical and financial support almost overnight.
The syli itself was abolished in 1985, when Guinea returned to the franc following Touré's death and the military coup that ended his 26-year rule. Notes from the 1980 emission had a circulation life of roughly five years at most.
