| Obverse description | At center, the polychrome enameled coat of arms of Tajikistan occupies the primary field, depicting a rising sun over snow-capped mountains above an open book, flanked by cotton bolls on the left and wheat sheaves on the right, all encircled by a Tajik national ornamental wreath and surmounted by a crown with seven stars. The denomination '50 СОМОНӢ' is inscribed in the lower field beneath the arms. The Cyrillic legend 'ҶУМҲУРИИ ТОҶИКИСТОН' arcs along the upper rim, while the Latin legend 'REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN' curves along the lower rim, with fineness and weight indicators 'Ag 925' and '31,1' flanking the arms in the left and right fields respectively.
