正面描述 The obverse is printed in pink and light blue tones with a fine guilloche underprint across the upper and lower registers. The State Emblem of Uzbekistan — a Humo bird within a circular wreath of wheat and cotton bolls, with a rising sun — appears as a central vignette in intaglio relief. The numeral '50' is printed in large figures above the Cyrillic inscription 'СЎМ', flanked by the issuing authority legend 'ЎЗБЕКИСТОН ДАВЛАТ БАНКИ' and the year '1992'; the country name 'ЎЗБЕКИСТОН' runs across the top in bold letterpress.

备注

Uzbekistan's first post-Soviet currency series, of which this note is part, was issued in 1992 as the som-coupon — a transitional instrument introduced before the permanent som replaced the Soviet ruble entirely in July 1994. The series was printed in a hurry under difficult procurement conditions, and the security architecture reflects it: a single watermark, nothing more. For a newly independent republic establishing its own monetary infrastructure from scratch, the limitations were practical rather than political.

The som-coupon was never intended to last. High inflation through 1993–94 eroded its value rapidly, and most low-denomination notes were spent into oblivion within months of issue.
