Beschrijving voorzijde	At left, a forward-facing portrait bust of President Apollo Milton Obote is set against a fine guilloche underprint, with the national arms rendered in intaglio at lower right. Two signatures appear below the portrait, accompanied by the issuer's name and denomination inscribed in both English and Swahili. Serial numbers are positioned in the upper left and lower right areas.

Rearing kob antelopes occupy the lower corners, while rosette medallions bearing the numeral '50' appear at upper left and right. A denomination panel at the base carries inscriptions in both English and Swahili.
