Opmerkingen

Bradbury Wilkinson held the Central Bank of Kenya printing contract through much of the 1980s, producing this series from their New Malden works until the firm was absorbed by De La Rue in 1990. The note ran across five signature combinations over eight years — an unusually high turnover reflecting Kenya's shifting senior banking appointments during the Moi administration, when the Finance ministry and the Central Bank governorship were politically sensitive positions.

The Duncan Ndegwa pairing is the earliest and typically the scarcest of the five variants. Collectors working this series by signature combination will find the later Kotut/Subiudyo pairing far more readily available.
