Reverse description A seven-branched menorah on a decorative base occupies the central field, surrounded by an elaborate wreath of olive branches from which twelve medallions are suspended, each bearing a distinct symbol representing one of the twelve tribes of Israel. The denomination 50 SHEKEL appears in the upper field above the menorah in two lines, and the Hebrew legend ישראל is inscribed below the menorah base. A beaded border frames the entire design.
