| 备注 |
The Residency of Aceh issued these emergency fractional notes in 1947 during the Indonesian National Revolution, when the newly proclaimed Republic was fighting Dutch attempts to reassert colonial control. Regional residencies across the archipelago were forced to produce their own scrip as centralized monetary infrastructure collapsed — Aceh, geographically isolated at the northern tip of Sumatra, was no exception.
Printed locally in Koetaradja with whatever materials were available, the notes were never intended for longevity. Survival rates are low, and examples that did persist often show handling damage consistent with wartime pocket wear.
