Obverse description Central vignette of a paulownia branch with leaves and blossoms printed in black on a pale ground, flanked by decorative scrollwork corner pieces. The large denomination characters 五拾錢 (50 Sen) are rendered in bold intaglio script across the centre, with the issuer name 朝鮮銀行 (Bank of Chosen) inscribed vertically at left. A circular red seal appears at lower left, and the date line runs along the bottom margin in Japanese characters.

Reverse description Olive-green engraved design composed of an elaborate oval guilloche frame filled with radiating floral and scrollwork motifs, with stylised chrysanthemum rosettes repeated around the border. Within the central oval, the English-language promise text is set in copperplate script. Denomination numerals '50' and the abbreviation 'SN' appear in the left and right margins respectively outside the oval frame.
