Reverse description The reverse presents two robed and nimbed ecclesiastical figures, depicted in the manner of Romanesque sculptural reliefs, jointly supporting a detailed model of the early Salzburg Cathedral between them. Below the cathedral model, the Salzburg coat of arms is prominently displayed. A circular legend along the upper periphery reads '1200 JAHRE DOM ZU SALZBURG', commemorating the 1,200th anniversary of the Salzburg Cathedral, with the date '1974' inscribed in the lower exergual area. The composition, engraved by Hans Köttenstorfer, combines architectural and figural elements in a harmonious, historically evocative design.
