| 备注 |
The Oesterreichische Nationalbank was itself only a few years old when this note was issued — it had been established in 1923 as part of the League of Nations-supervised stabilization program that rescued Austria from one of the more severe hyperinflationary collapses of the postwar period. The schilling it issued replaced the krone at a ratio of 10,000 to 1.
Alfred Cossmann was a Viennese medallist and graphic artist with a precise, finely detailed hand more typical of coin work than banknote design — Rudolf Zenziger's engraving translates that quality into intaglio. Notes from this series were printed by the Austrian State Printing Office.
