The legend LATVIJA curves along the lower periphery in raised Latin letters. |

| 裏面の説明 | A heroic male figure, depicted in profile facing left, stands at the helm of a boat, firmly grasping a tiller with both hands; wind-swept drapery and a sail are visible to the right of the figure, conveying motion and maritime industry. A large denominational legend '50' appears prominently in the upper right field, with the word 'Santimu' inscribed beneath it in a serif typeface. The engraver's name R. ZARINS is incised in small letters in the lower field. The composition is rendered in a bold, Art Nouveau-influenced style characteristic of Zariņš's work. |
