The central text reads 'NEGARA REPOEBLIK INDONESIA' above the denomination 'LIMAPOELOE 50 ROEPIAH', with the issuing authority 'MEMBANG MOEDA' and date '4 SPT. 1947' below. Two manuscript signatures appear across the lower centre, accompanied by the redemption notice 'BON INI DIKELOEARKAN DI KANTOR WED. N. MOEDA', with the value '50' repeated in all four corners.
