| 备注 |
Bank of Baroda entered the traveller's cheque market relatively late compared to State Bank of India, which had dominated rupee-denominated travel instruments since the 1950s. This 1982 specimen was produced for staff training and branch familiarization ahead of the product's rollout — specimen traveller's cheques were never meant to be encashed and were typically perforated or overprinted to prevent misuse, making intact examples genuinely uncommon in collector hands.
Rupee traveller's cheques of this period were restricted instruments: usable only within India under RBI regulations, which sharply limited their commercial appeal and ultimately curtailed the program's lifespan.
