Obverse description The obverse features the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, centrally positioned in the upper field, depicted with three lions atop an abacus bearing a Dharma Chakra and flanking animals in relief. Below the emblem, the national motto in Devanagari script reads 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate). The denomination '50' appears in large numerals at the lower centre, flanked by the word 'RUPEES' in Latin script along the right rim. The country name is inscribed in both Devanagari 'भारत' along the left rim and 'INDIA' in Latin script along the right rim. The design is executed in a clean, polished proof-like finish with a mirror field.
