Reverse description A three-quarter length portrait of Sant Tukaram, the 17th-century Marathi poet-saint, is depicted seated cross-legged in the central field, playing the ektara (single-stringed instrument) with a book or scripture resting before him. The saint is shown in traditional attire with a turban. The legend 'SANT TUKARAM' appears in Latin script along the upper right rim, accompanied by Devanagari text reading the saint's name and themes of devotion and brotherhood along the left and upper arcs. The date '2002' is inscribed in the lower field, flanked by decorative dots.
