| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Seychelles prominently centered in the field, depicting a shield supported by two marlins and surmounted by an open helmet with a frigate bird crest, with a scroll bearing the national motto FINIS CORONAT OPUS rendered in the exergue below the shield. The legend REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES curves along the upper periphery in large raised Latin lettering. The denomination 50 RUPEES is boldly inscribed along the lower arc, flanked by raised dot stops. A small mint mark (PM, for Pobjoy Mint) appears to the left of the motto scroll. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is dominated by a large stylized heart motif at center, within which a pair of infant footprints appear to the left and a royal crown to the right, with a heart-shaped blue Swarovski crystal inlay set beneath the footprints. Overlapping the lower portion of the heart, the gold-gilt royal cypher WK — referencing the Prince and Princess of Wales — is rendered in large ornate script letters. A border of raised dot beading encircles the inner field. The legend THE ROYAL BABY arcs along the upper periphery, and the date 2013 appears at the base, all in raised Latin lettering. |
