Obverse description The national coat of arms of the Republic of Seychelles is depicted in high relief at the centre of the field, featuring a shield supported by two billfish and surmounted by a black parrot, with a white-tailed tropicbird as a secondary supporter on the right. The shield bears the coco-de-mer palm and a tortoise above stylised ocean waves. Below the arms, a scroll carries the motto FINIS CORONAT OPUS. The legend REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by two raised dots, while the denomination 50 RUPEES appears in bold relief along the lower periphery.
