| Obverse description | Central field features a traditional Nepalese yantra-style square diagram divided into nine compartments, bearing the royal name and titles in Devanagari script: 'श्री श्री' at the top, with 'श्री ५ वीरेन्द्र' across the upper register, 'वीर' and 'विक्रम' flanking a central trident symbol, and 'शाह देव' in the lower register. Decorative foliate cartouches occupy the four corner quadrants, and the Bikram Sambat regnal year '२०५७' (VS 2057) appears at the bottom. The entire central design is enclosed within an ornate circular border of beaded dots and geometric embellishments. |
