Beschrijving voorzijde At center, a waxing crescent moon and five-pointed star are depicted in the rising position, oriented toward the northwest. The legend 'حكومت پاکستان' (Government of Pakistan) in Urdu script arcs along the upper periphery. Two sprigs of wheat with upward-curving arms flank the base of the crescent and star, with the date '1997' positioned above them. Aanvullende informatie

Pakistan's 1997 golden jubilee year generated a significant commemorative program, and several denominations were produced as patterns that never advanced to circulation. This 50 Rupee piece is among those trials — approved designs struck in test quantities to evaluate production feasibility, then shelved when the issuing authority opted against release.

The State Bank of Pakistan held pattern strikes from this period in institutional reserves; very few entered private hands through legitimate channels.
