Obverse description Printed in tones of purple, pink, and blue on a guilloche underprint, the obverse carries a three-quarter portrait of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah at right, wearing a dark suit and traditional Karakul cap. At centre, Urdu inscriptions identify the issuing authority and denomination within an ornate geometric rosette, while a large circular guilloche watermark void occupies the left field. The numeral '50' appears in the lower-left corner and in Arabic-Urdu script at upper right, with the serial number printed twice in black.

Reverse description The reverse is rendered in shades of purple and mauve, dominated by a finely engraved vignette of the Lahore Fort gateway (Alamgiri Gate), with flanking bastions, arched entrance, and surrounding trees rendered in detailed intaglio line work. The State Bank of Pakistan seal appears in the upper-right corner, and an Urdu religious motto is printed in red above the architectural vignette. The denomination '50' in an ornate cartouche is placed at upper left, and the English legend 'FIFTY RUPEES' runs along the lower margin.
