Obverse description	A traditional Maldivian dhow under full sail occupies the right portion of the note, rendered in fine intaglio against a blue and lilac guilloche underprint. To the left, a vignette of tropical coconut palms and foliage frames the composition, with Thaana script inscriptions and the date in both Hijri and Gregorian calendars centred across the middle. The denomination numeral '50' appears at both left and right margins, with the serial number printed twice in blue.
