Reverse description	Printed in green on a plain light ground, the reverse carries the date '1919' in an ornamental cartouche at top centre, flanked by the German legend 'Lettlands Staats-Kassenschein' to the left and the Russian legend 'Обязательство Гос. Казн. Латвии' to the right. A central circular vignette contains the Latvian state arms — a quartered shield with a rising sun and stars within a wreath — set within a radiating sunburst border, with 'KUBEL' and 'РУБЛЕЙ' inscriptions and oval '50' counters positioned on either side. Counterfeiting warning texts in German and Russian occupy the lower left and lower right panels respectively.
Reverse lettering	Lettlands Staats-Kassenschein. 1919 Обязательство Гос. Казн. Латвии. KUBEL РУБЛЕЙ 50 Wer Staatskassenscheine nachmacht, oder nachgemachte in Verkehr bringt, wird unter Verlust aller Rechte mit Zwangsarbeit bis zu 12 Jahren bestraft. Die Staatskassenscheine sind durch das gesamte Vermögen des Staates garantiert. За подделку обязательств Гос. Казрест. Казначейства, хранение и распространение поддельных виновые подвергаются лишению всех прав состояния и ссылке в каторжные работы на 12 лет. Обязательства Государственного Казначейства обеспечиваются всем достоянием Государства.
