The SU-14-1 was a Soviet experimental self-propelled gun developed in the early 1930s, mounting a 203mm howitzer on a lengthened T-35 hull. It never entered mass production, and only two prototypes were built. During the German advance in 1941, one of the surviving vehicles was hastily armed with a machine gun and deployed in the defense of Moscow — a remarkable footnote given that it was essentially an experimental relic pressed into front-line service.
