| 裏面の説明 | The reverse depicts a tender scene of a Slavic woman, rendered in the manner of a traditional icon, nursing or cradling an infant child against her chest, evoking themes of motherhood central to Slavic cultural heritage. The figures are presented in a frontal, hieratic composition with fine engraved detail in the robes and facial features. Two small decorative emblems or ornamental devices flank the figures in the upper field. The bold Cyrillic inscription 'СЛАВЯНКА' ('Slavic Woman') arches across the top of the coin in raised lettering. The design is executed in proof quality with a polished field contrasting against the frosted relief of the central motif. |

Part of Belarus's ongoing "Slavic Woman" bullion series, this issue sits in an awkward commercial niche — too small a gold weight to compete with mainstream bullion, yet priced above typical numismatic commemoratives. The National Bank of Belarus launched the series partly to generate hard currency revenue through collector sales abroad, a practice common among post-Soviet states with limited export commodities in the early 2000s.
Mintage figures for this type were never widely published, which has made secondary market pricing inconsistent.
