Obverse description The obverse is dominated by Russian-language text identifying this as a short-term treasury obligation (краткосрочное обязательство Государственного Казначейства), with the denomination РУБ. 50 placed at upper right. A decorative ornamental vignette at left incorporates a double-headed eagle, with the numeral 50 to its left; French-language text runs vertically along the left margin identifying this as a Bon du Trésor redeemable on 1 April 1920. The note bears printed signatures of the Director of the State Treasury Department and the Chief of the Accounting Division, with the place and date of issue, Omsk, 1 April 1919, at the lower right.
