| Obverse description | The obverse features the Russian state emblem in the form of a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The denomination ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ (Fifty Roubles) is inscribed in Cyrillic across the upper arc, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) appears along the lower arc, both separated by dot ornaments.
