Obverse description Central vignette presents an intaglio-printed allegorical female figure — a personification of the River Neva — seated on a plinth against a view of the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg, rendered in fine engraved linework. The double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia appears in the upper left, accompanied by a vertical guilloche band along the left margin incorporating denomination numerals and optically variable security elements. The denomination «ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ» is set in large bold lettering along the lower edge, with the serial number printed in both black and red.
