正面描述 The obverse is laid out in a symmetrical letterpress composition with a central circular state arms vignette at upper centre, incorporating a crescent and star motif, flanked by two ornate cartouches rendered in green ink. Three rectangular text panels in Arabic script occupy the lower register, separated by a guilloche chain running horizontally across the centre field. The entire design is enclosed within a meander-pattern border.

背面描述 The reverse is printed in a monochrome lilac-grey palette with a large central oval vignette bearing multi-line Arabic script text, flanked on either side by circular medallions each inscribed '50 РУБЛЕЙ'. The date '1923' appears within a circular cartouche at the top centre, and a further circular cartouche at the bottom centre carries an Arabic numeral date. A continuous guilloche and meander outer border frames the entire design.

备注

Khorezm — the short-lived Soviet satellite carved from the former Khanate of Khiva in 1920 — issued its own currency for just a few years before the republic was dissolved into the Uzbek and Turkmen SSRs in 1924. This 50 Rouble note belongs to the final emission series, printed while the political apparatus was already being dismantled around it. The republic never had a functioning central bank in any meaningful sense; note production was improvised and undercapitalized from the start.

Surviving examples of the S1111 series turn up infrequently, and condition is often poor — the paper quality used in Khorezm's later issues was notably inferior to contemporaneous Soviet emissions from Moscow.
