| Obverse description | Central design features two crossed flags of Ajman above a crossed sword and dagger motif, all set against a plain field. The denomination '٥٠ ريال' appears in Arabic numerals at the center between the flag staffs, with '50 R' in Latin numerals below. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the Arabic legend of the Government of Ajman and its Dependencies arcing across the upper field and the Latin legend 'GOVERNMENT OF AJMAN & ITS DEP' arcing along the lower periphery.
