| Description de l’avers | The Sharjah state arms occupies the central field, comprising two crossed flags surmounted by a palm tree, the entire device encircled by a wreath of laurel branches. Bilingual legends appear around the periphery, with the Arabic inscription حكومة الشارقة (State of Sharjah) and the English equivalent STATE OF SHARJAH flanking the design. The denomination 50 S. RIYALS and its Arabic equivalent ٥٠ ريال are inscribed, along with the dual date 1970 in Western numerals and ١٣٨٩ in Arabic-Indic numerals. The gold fineness [900] is also noted within the legend. The coin is struck to proof standard with deeply mirrored fields. |

The stylised tournament logotype MEXICO'70 is prominently rendered in the lower-centre of the globe. The Arabic legend كأس جول ريميه ١٩٧٠ is inscribed along the lower periphery, while the Latin legend CUP JULES RIMET arcs along the upper border, all within a beaded rim. |
