| 备注 |
Brunei's 1967 series, of which this is the highest denomination, was issued in the same year the sultanate's currency agreement with Malaysia and Singapore took effect — the three territories initially sharing a common par value under the Interchangeability Agreement of June 1967. Brunei retained its own issuing authority rather than joining the proposed regional central bank, a political decision that keeps these notes distinct from their Malaysian and Singaporean contemporaries despite the monetary parity.
Bradbury Wilkinson's New Malden facility handled most British colonial and post-colonial currency work through this period. The watermark remains the sole security device — modest even by 1967 standards.
