| 备注 |
Rigsbanken was itself a crisis institution — established by royal decree in January 1813 after the collapse of Denmark-Norway's Kurantbank, which had been rendered insolvent by the Napoleonic Wars and chronic government borrowing. The new bank launched with its own currency, the Rigsbankdaler, but public confidence was nearly nonexistent from the start.
Printing in Christiania rather than Copenhagen reflects the administrative reality of a dual-monarchy under severe wartime strain. Within months of this note's issue window, the Treaty of Kiel in January 1814 ceded Norway to Sweden — meaning notes printed in Christiania for a Danish crown institution were almost immediately issued under political circumstances their designers could not have anticipated.
