Opmerkingen

Harrison & Sons secured a long-running contract with Bank Melli Iran that stretched across multiple reigns and currency reforms, producing notes through some of the most turbulent decades in modern Iranian political history. This series was issued in the immediate aftermath of the 1953 coup that restored Mohammad Reza Shah to power following Mossadegh's nationalization government — the timing matters, since the reinstated monarchy needed functioning currency infrastructure quickly, and the existing Harrison relationship provided exactly that continuity.

Pick 66 is known to exist with minor plate varieties in the serial number prefix blocks, though none rise to the level of catalogue-listed errors.
