Description de l’avers	A full-length vignette of the ancient bronze statue of Ma'adkarib occupies the left portion of the note, rendered in intaglio against a multicolour guilloche underprint of yellow, blue, and pink. The bank title in Arabic script appears across the top, with the denomination in Arabic numerals and text centred in the field alongside the issuing authority legend and Governor's signature. Ornate floral corner rosettes and an interlaced geometric border frame the entire composition.

Description du revers	The central vignette presents an intaglio panoramic view of the ancient mud-brick tower houses of Shibam, Hadramaut, rising above a foreground of palm trees and desert terrain. The numeral "50" appears in the upper left corner, with a second instance at lower right, both set within the ornate geometric border. The bank name in English runs along the upper margin, with the denomination "FIFTY RIALS" inscribed in a cartouche at the bottom centre, and the Arabic legend "شبام حضرموت" at lower left.
