Obverse description A boldly rendered eagle's head in profile facing left occupies the central field, depicted with fine feather detailing across the neck and crown, and a sharply hooked beak. The design is executed in high relief in a naturalistic yet stylized manner characteristic of Weimar-era German coinage. The circular legend DEUTSCHES REICH runs along the periphery, divided on either side of the eagle's head, set within a beaded border.

Reverse description The large denomination numeral '50' dominates the central field, flanked on either side by a central oak branch bearing a prominent lobed oak leaf and two acorns pendant below, rendered in fine naturalistic detail. The curved legend REICHSPFENNIG arcs around the lower portion of the field, while the date 1926 appears along the upper arc. The composition is contained within a beaded border, reflecting the artistic sensibility of the Weimar Republic period.
