| Obverse description | Central field features the Albanian state emblem of the People's Socialist Republic of Albania: a double-headed eagle displayed, encircled by a wreath of wheat stalks. A five-pointed star surmounts the eagle at the top, and a ribbon inscribed '24 MAJ 1944' — commemorating the date of the first Anti-Fascist National Liberation Congress — appears at the base of the emblem.
