| Obverse description | Central field features the Eagle of Saladin with spread wings, rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished proof field. Above the eagle, the Arabic legend 'جمهورية مصر العربية' (Arab Republic of Egypt) is inscribed in two lines, surmounted by a stylised lotus crown motif. The legend 'A·R·E' appears in Latin characters across the central field. Denominations '50 LE' and '٥٠ جنيه' flank the design to the left and right respectively, with the Gregorian year '1994', the Arabic numeral year '١٩٩٤', and the Hijri year '١٤١٥' arranged around the lower periphery.
