| Obverse description | The left portion carries an intaglio vignette of the Sudan National Museum building flanked by a row of ancient stone columns, set within an oval guilloche frame. At centre, the Bank of Sudan arms — a shield within a wreath on a radiating sunburst underprint — serves as the focal motif, with two traditional spears rendered in intaglio along the right margin. Arabic inscriptions appear at the top and lower right, with the denomination numeral 50 in the lower-left corner and the signature of the Governor below. |
