| Description du revers | The denomination 50 POUNDS appears prominently in the center field in both Arabic script (٥٠ جنيهاً) and Latin characters, with the commemorative inscription referring to the 15th Hijrah Century rendered in Arabic (القرن الخامس عشر الهجري) above and the equivalent English legend 15th HIJRAH CENTURY below, all within a plain round flan with milled edge. The design is cleanly arranged in concentric bands of lettering with an open central field, characteristic of the Royal Mint's proof and trial strike productions of the period. |
