Descrizione del dritto	Printed in shades of red and pink on a light underprint, the obverse carries a portrait vignette of Sergio Osmeña at center-left, set against a guilloche background with an intaglio rendition of the First National Assembly in session at left. The national arms and the logo of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas appear at upper center-right, flanked by the denomination numeral '50' in large intaglio figures. A secondary vignette at right references the Leyte Landing of October 1944, with two facsimile signatures below center.

Descrizione del rovescio	The reverse is rendered in tones of red and rose, centered on a vignette of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano framed by an outline map of Luzon island at left, with the text 'Taal Lake' inscribed above in script lettering. A group of three milkfish (bangus) is illustrated in the foreground, conveying the ecological and agricultural significance of the region.
