Obverse description The obverse features the large Arabic numeral '٥٠' (50) prominently in the central field, flanked below by the Arabic denomination 'قرشاً' (Piastres) and the Latin legend '50 PIASTRES' along the lower rim. The upper portion of the field bears the country name in ornate Arabic calligraphy reading 'جمهورية مصر العربية' (Arab Republic of Egypt). Dual dating appears in the lower field, with the Hijri year '١٤٤٢ هـ' to the right and the Gregorian year '٢٠٢١ م' to the left. The coin is struck on a brass-clad steel flan with a reeded border encircling the entire design.

Reverse description The reverse depicts a stylized winged scarab beetle at the centre of the field, its outstretched wings rendered in fine detail with radiating sunrays emanating upward from the scarab's body, evoking ancient Egyptian iconography. Below the scarab device, the Arabic legend 'موكب المومياوات الملكية' (Procession of the Royal Mummies) is inscribed across the field. Beneath this, the bilingual commemorative inscription 'THE PHARAOHS' GOLDEN PARADE' appears in bold Latin letters, followed by the event date '3-4-2021' in the lower field. The design commemorates the historic procession of 22 royal mummies transferred through Cairo on 3 April 2021. A reeded border frames the entire reverse composition.
