Descrizione del dritto	Green intaglio-printed note with a central vignette of two African elephants standing beneath acacia trees in a savanna landscape. Arabic inscriptions of the issuing authority and promise-to-pay legend appear in the upper portion, with the denomination rendered in Arabic numerals within a floral medallion at right. Two signatures of board members are printed at lower centre, flanked by the serial number repeated at upper right and lower left.

The legend SUDAN CURRENCY BOARD arches across the top within a decorative guilloche border, while FIFTY PIASTRES is inscribed in a ribbon panel at the foot. Corner rosettes and quatrefoil guilloche ornaments frame the composition.
