| Reverse description | Predominantly blue-green intaglio reverse with a bold central panel bearing the bank name in large Arabic calligraphic script within a rectangular cartouche framed by fine guilloche latticework. Large numeral '50' occupies the lower centre within an elaborate scrollwork ground, with Arabic numeral denomination panels at left and right within circular guilloche medallions. The printer's imprint 'BRADBURY WILKINSON & COMPNY LONDON' appears in small letterpress at the bottom margin. |
