At centre, a heraldic vignette shows two standing male figures — a fisherman with a sickle and a labourer with a hammer — flanking a quartered shield bearing a lion and cross motif, above a red banner inscribed in Gothic script. The denomination "50 Pf." appears in large red numerals at upper left and upper right, with two columns of text in German Gothic type flanking the central vignette; a band of facsimile signatures runs below the central group.
