| Obverse description | Light blue note with a fine guilloche underprint and a saw-tooth decorative border. Ueckermünde's 1921 Notgeld issue was handled by Gebrüder Parcus of Munich, one of the more prolific Notgeld printers of the Weimar inflation years — a Munich firm that produced small-denomination emergency currency for dozens of municipalities across Germany as the central monetary system buckled under postwar reparations pressure. The Magistrat, like countless other local authorities, was effectively filling a vacuum left by a shortage of small change rather than responding to hyperinflation proper; the acute coin shortage preceded the catastrophic inflation peak by two years.
Parcus's production quality for municipal clients was generally consistent, which makes condition-sorting within this series genuinely difficult.
